WYRDFORGING Global Warranty Policy

(Covering Models WF001 & WF002)

1. The WYRDFORGING Promise & Mandatory Statutory Rights

At WYRDFORGING, we build gaming furniture designed to withstand the toughest battles. We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship with tailored commercial warranty policies.

IMPORTANT CONSUMER LEGAL RIGHTS:

  • For EU Customers: This voluntary manufacturer’s commercial warranty applies in addition to, and does not affect or limit, your statutory legal rights towards the seller. Under EU law (Directive (EU) 2019/771), you are entitled to a minimum 2-year statutory guarantee for lack of conformity present at the time of delivery, providing free repair, replacement, or refund, regardless of the terms of this commercial warranty.

  • For US Customers: This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE BELOW LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

2. Coverage by Product Model & Registration Requirement

The warranty period begins on the date of documented delivery to the original shipping address.

CRITICAL REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT: To activate either the 5-Year Limited Warranty (WF001) or the 1-Year Unconditional Warranty (WF002), the original purchaser must register their product via our official website within 15 days of the delivery date. Failure to register within this 15-day window will void this extended commercial warranty. (Note for EU Customers: This registration requirement only applies to our voluntary commercial warranties; it does not affect your mandatory 2-year statutory guarantee rights).

This warranty is strictly limited to indoor, personal, non-commercial use.

Model WF001: 5-Year Limited Warranty

This model is covered against structural and mechanical defects in material and workmanship.

  • 5-Year Coverage: Metal steel frame, aluminum wheelbase, tilt/recline mechanism, and Class-4 gas lift. (Covered failures include manufacturer-caused cracks, breakage, or inability to adjust mechanisms).

  • 2-Year Coverage: Armrest tops, casters (wheels), upholstery (stitching, fabric, PU leather), and memory foam pillows.

  • Exclusions for WF001: This limited warranty does not cover:

    • Normal Wear and Tear: Natural softening of foam, flattening of cushions, or peeling/abrasion of materials caused by regular use, sweat, friction, or chemicals.

    • Misuse or Abuse: Exceeding the stated weight limit, improper assembly, or exposure to extreme temperatures/humidity.

Model WF002: 1-Year Unconditional (Hassle-Free) Warranty

We offer a premium, worry-free policy for the WF002 model designed to cover accidental incidents during your first year of ownership.

  • 1-Year Coverage: Covers all components, including structural failures, accidental damage, and significant cosmetic wear that impacts use.

  • Exclusions & Limitations:

    • Excludes intentional destruction, vandalism, unauthorized modifications, theft, loss, or Acts of God (fire, flood).

    • Claim Limit: Each WF002 purchase is strictly limited to one (1) unconditional replacement claim per order. (Note for EU: This 1-year limit applies only to the "unconditional/accidental" coverage. Your 2-year statutory guarantee against manufacturing defects remains intact).

3. General Exclusions & Disclaimers (Applies to All Models)

This commercial warranty is entirely voided under the following conditions:

  • Non-Original Purchaser: The claim is made by someone other than the original purchaser (Non-transferable).

  • Unauthorized Sellers: The product was purchased second-hand, "as-is", or from an unauthorized reseller.

  • Commercial Use: The product is used in commercial, institutional, or rental settings (e.g., internet cafes) unless otherwise agreed in writing by WYRDFORGING.

LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES (US CUSTOMERS ONLY): TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS WRITTEN WARRANTY. WYRDFORGING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

4. Warranty Remedy & Shipping Costs

Upon receiving a valid claim, WYRDFORGING will, at our sole discretion:

  1. Send Replacement Parts: Ship necessary spare parts and instructions.

  2. Replace the Product: Replace the unit if parts cannot resolve the issue.

Important Conditions regarding Remedies:

  • Shipping Costs: WYRDFORGING covers shipping costs for replacement parts within the contiguous United States and mainland European Union. Customers residing in non-contiguous states, overseas territories, or remote islands may be responsible for additional shipping surcharges.

  • Return of Defective Parts: WYRDFORGING reserves the right to request the return of defective parts or visual proof of product destruction before dispatching replacements.

5. How to Make a Claim

Contact our support team at service@wyrdforging.com containing:

  1. Order Number & Proof of Purchase.

  2. Photographic/Video Evidence demonstrating the defect.

  3. Product Model (WF001 or WF002).

6. Governing Law & Severability

To the fullest extent permitted by the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you reside, this Warranty Policy is governed by the laws of Hong Kong. If any provision of this Warranty is held to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, such provision shall be fully severable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
